I was a happy attendee at the Nevada Caucus and was surprised at the lack of organization. After things were a little settled down and organized at the start it went very smoothly. Most of the people there were not really that informed, did not wish to speak, and really just wanted to leave. The majority were for Mitt Romney and actually thought they were voting! They were not, the vote for the candidate was only a straw poll. The import thing that was being established was the voting for the delegates. It is easy to see why we get the people elected that we do, people just do not take the time to understand the process, who stands for what, what the issues are, or really anything. What a shame! And we run around to other countries and try and coerce them into democracy. Seems like we should educate our own population on it first.
